By using troubleshooting.tools you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, stop using the service.
License
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the tools for legitimate purposes. Personal use, commercial use, education, research, integration into your workflows. All fine.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Use the service for anything illegal
- Interfere with the proper working of the service
- Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service
- Scrape or extract data with automated systems beyond reasonable use
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the service as your own
- Process data that violates any laws or regulations
Availability
I aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee it. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". I may modify or discontinue tools without notice, perform maintenance, or impose limits on features.
Data
Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any data you input. You should understand which tools run in the browser and which call a server. Every tool page carries a processing badge that tells you.
Intellectual Property
The service, its code, design and content are my property and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your data stays yours. I do not claim ownership of anything you process through the tools. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service without explicit permission.
API Usage
Some tools offer API endpoints. If you use them:
- Stay within reasonable rate limits
- Do not degrade the service for other users
- Attribute the source in your applications
- Commercial API use is permitted at reasonable volumes
Warranty
The service comes without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the service will meet all your requirements, run without interruption, or produce perfectly accurate results. Network queries and external APIs depend on third-party data sources that may be outdated or incomplete.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
My total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid me, which for a free service is zero.
You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
I may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these terms.
Changes
I may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
